AC = hypotenuse(कर्ण)
AB = Perpendicular(लम्ब)

From the Pythagoras theorem,

(Hypotenuse)² = (Perpendicular)² + (Base)²
or 
(कर्ण)² = (लम्ब)² + (आधार)²

1. Sin²θ + Cos²θ = 1
2. 1 + tan²θ = Sec²θ
3. 1 + Cot²θ = Cosec²θ

Relation between Trigonometric Ratios

1. Sinθ = 1/Cosecθ
2. Cosθ = 1/Secθ
3. tanθ = 1/Cotθ
4. tanθ = Sinθ/Cosθ 
5. Cotθ = Cosθ/Sinθ
6. Sin(θ/2) = √{(1-Cosθ)/2}
7. Cos(θ/2) = √{(1+Cosθ)/2}
